Missing Christmas Day game

The Ravens have ruled Hill (concussion) out for Wednesday's game against the Texans. Hill was knocked out of Saturday's 34-17 win over the Steelers after his head hit the turf violently when he was brought down on a 25-yard run in the second quarter. Unsurprisingly, Hill was unable to clear the five-step concussion protocol on a short week, and he'll miss his first game of the season Wednesday. With Hill sidelined, Rasheen Ali and Keaton Mitchell will be the available depth options in the backfield behind starter Derrick Henry.
Doesn't practice Monday

Hill (concussion) didn't practice Monday. Hill sustained a concussion Saturday against the the Steelers when his head hit the ground hard as he was tackled at the end of a 25-yard run. With no activity to speak of since then, he seems to be trending toward his first absence of the season Wednesday at Houston. Tuesday's injury report may provide clarity on that front, but rookie fifth-round pick Rasheen Ali and Keaton Mitchell are lined up for complementary reps behind starter Derrick Henry if Hill isn't able to suit up Week 17.
DNP on practice estimate

Hill (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Sunday's practice estimate. Baltimore faced Pittsburgh on Saturday, with the team holding a late-afternoon walkthrough one day later. Given that Hill sustained a concussion versus the Steelers, his status for Wednesday's game against the Texans is cloudy on a short week. If Hill is sidelined for the contest, Rasheen Ali and Keaton Mitchell would be in line to see complementary snaps behind top back Derrick Henry.
Unlikely to play Week 17

Ravens coach John Harbaugh was not optimistic when asked following Sunday's 34-17 win against the Steelers if Hill (concussion) would be available versus Houston on Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Hill exited with a concussion during the second quarter, and he'll have just three days to clear the league's concussion protocol before the game against Houston on Christmas Day. The 27-year-old running back has been a productive receiver for Baltimore this season, tallying a 42-383-3 receiving line over the first 14 games of the season. Meanwhile, fellow running back Keaton Mitchell was ruled a healthy scratch for the third game in a row Sunday. Therefore, it's likely that rookie Rasheen Ali will step up as the primary backup for Wednesday's game versus Houston, though bell-cow Derrick Henry should continue to shoulder the vast majority of Baltimore's rushing workload.
Out due to concusson

Hill has been ruled out during Saturday's contest against the Steelers due to a concussion. Hill's head hit violently against the ground after taking a tough hit following a 25-yard run in the second quarter. With Keaton Mitchell a healthy inactive, rookie Rasheen Ali is the only other healthy running back behind Derrick Henry.
Thriving as receiving threat

Hill took two carries for seven yards while bringing in all five of his targets for 61 receiving yards and a touchdown in Sunday's blowout win over the Giants. Hill made an additional mark outside of fantasy matchups when he ripped off a 59-yard return on special teams. Baltimore's talented backup recorded his fourth touchdown of the season on quarterback Lamar Jackson's fifth passing touchdown of the game. Hill remains a boom-or-bust option (due to his limited usage) for those in deeper leagues as the Ravens prepare to host the Steelers on Saturday.
Seven touches in loss to Philly

Hill rushed three times for six yards and caught four of six targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Eagles. Hill saw his customary level of usage while working in a change-of-pace role behind Derrick Henry. Hill's volume has been remarkably consistent heading into Baltimore's Week 14 bye. He has totaled between six and eight touches nine times this season while falling short of six three times and exceeding eight just once, when Hill had four carries and six catches against the Bills back in Week 4.
Long TD run in win

Hill rushed four times for 55 yards and a touchdown and secured both targets for seven yards in the Ravens' 30-23 win over the Chargers on Monday night. Hill's backfield mate Derrick Henry stole the show with 140 rushing yards, but Hill was the only one of the two to record a touchdown when he rattled off a 51-yard scoring scamper just past the midway point of the fourth quarter that extended a 23-16 Ravens lead. Hill's trip to the end zone was his first on the ground since Week 5 of last season, although he does have two receiving scores this season. Despite Monday night's big run, Hill remains a very speculative fantasy option except for deep PPR leagues heading into a Week 13 home clash with the Eagles.
Cleared to suit up in Week 12

Hill (concussion protocol) doesn't have an injury designation heading into Monday's clash against the Chargers, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports. Hill began the week with a limited practice while in concussion protocol but was able to log a full practice Friday. He was then estimated as a full participant again in Saturday's walkthrough. As such, Hill will be able to suit up against the Chargers, and he'll likely continue to work as Baltimore's top kickoff returner as well as its change-of-pace back behind Derrick Henry.
