Potter isn't starting Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. Potter drew a spot start Monday against the Cavs and came through with 11 points and seven boards in 26 minutes, but he'll return to a bench role Thursday with the Jazz choosing to roll out a smaller first unit. Potter is averaging 2.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in his last six appearances as a reserve.

Micah Potter : Shifting to bench
Potter isn't starting Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. Potter drew a spot start Monday against the Cavs and came through with 11 points and seven boards in 26 minutes, but he'll return to a bench role Thursday with the Jazz choosing to roll out a smaller first unit. Potter is averaging 2.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in his last six appearances as a reserve.
Isaiah Collier : Starting vs. Portland
Collier is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. Collier will make the second start of his NBA career due to the absence of Keyonte George (ankle) on Thursday. The former USC guard has had a limited role in his rookie year, though, averaging just 2.9 points, 3.2 assists and 1.8 rebounds across 16.6 minutes per game in his previous 20 appearances (one start) in 2024-25.
Keyonte George : Ruled out against Portland
George (ankle) won't play in Thursday's game versus the Trail Blazers. George will miss his third straight contest Thursday after being downgraded from questionable to out due to a left ankle sprain. Svi Mykhailiuk will likely draw another start in his absence. George's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.
John Collins : Ruled out Thursday
Collins (hip) won't play in Thursday's game versus the Trail Blazers. Collins will miss his second straight game Thursday after being downgraded from questionable to out due to a left hip contusion. Micah Potter will likely continue to receive increased playing time in his absence. Collins' next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.
Jordan Clarkson : Won’t play against Portland
Clarkson is out for Thursday's game versus the Trail Blazers due to a left foot plantar fasciitis. Clarkson missed seven straight games earlier this season due to left foot plantar fasciitis and appears to have aggravated the injury. Johnny Juzang, Brice Sensabaugh, Isaiah Collier and Svi Mykhailiuk are candidates to receive increased playing time in his absence. Clarkson's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.
Keyonte George : Iffy for Thursday
George (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. For the third straight game, George is questionable due to his left ankle sprain. The other two games saw them played after his status was gradually downgraded from questionable to doubtful to out. George will hope for a turnaround this time and look to get his starting spot back from Svi Mykhailiuk, who has scored more than 10 points in both games the former sat out.
John Collins : Questionable for Thursday
Collins (hip) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. Collins' left hip contusion will make him questionable for another game. The last time this happened, his status was gradually downgraded before he was ruled out for the Jazz's game Monday at Cleveland. The Jazz lost without him, snapping a two-game winning streak that saw him log 29 points and 20 rebounds.
Jordan Clarkson : Erupts for 27 points
Clarkson accumulated 27 points (7-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 10-11 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 33 minutes during Monday's 124-113 loss to Cleveland. Clarkson set a new season-high mark of 27 points, taking advantage of some injuries in Utah -- Keyonte George (ankle) and John Collins (hip) were both held out with minor issues. Clarkson is going to be a popular trade candidate, as he's a proven veteran scorer who is owed $14.09 million this season and $14.28 million in 2025-26.
