Henry To’oTo’o Latest News
Tallies 10 tackles vs. Kansas City

To'oTo'o finished Saturday's 27-19 loss to the Chiefs with 10 tackles (five solo). To'oTo'o co-led the Texans in tackling Saturday with Eric Murray. To'oTo'o has played at least 60 defensive snaps in five of his last six games, and over that span he has accumulated 47 tackles (24 solo), including 0.5 sacks, two pass defenses (including one interception) and one forced fumble. To'oTo'o is up to 97 combined tackles through 13 regular-season games, and he'll look to eclipse the century mark against Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and the Ravens on Wednesday.
Team-high 11 tackles vs. Fins

To'oTo'o registered 11 tackles (four solo), including 0.5 sacks, and one forced fumble during Sunday's 20-12 win over the Dolphins. To'oTo'o logged double-digit tackles Sunday for the second time this season and played every single defensive snap for the third time. He also tallied his first sack since Week 2 when he combined with Danielle Hunter to get to Tua Tagovailoa for a one-yard loss early in the first quarter. To'oTo'o is now up to 87 combined tackles through 12 games, and he is on track to crack the 100-tackle milestone over the Texans' final three games of the 2024 regular season.
Eight tackles vs. Jaguars

To'oTo'o registered eight tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 23-20 win over Jacksonville. To'oTo'o tied Kamari Lassiter and Eric Murray for second-most tackles on the Texans on Sunday behind Neville Hewitt (nine). To'oTo'o has played at least 61 defensive snaps in three of his last four outings, and across 11 regular-season games he's logged 76 tackles (41 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three pass defenses (including one interception).
Pick leads to points

To'oTo'o recorded six tackles and an interception in Sunday's 26-23 loss to Detroit in Week 10. To'oTo'o had one of five Houston interceptions on the night, two of which led to points. The linebacker's pick set up the Texans on the Lions' 36-yard line and led to a 29-yard field goal. It was the first career interception for To'oTo'o, who leads the defense with 56 tackles.
Clears concussion protocols

To'oTo'o has cleared the league's five-step concussion protocols and will be available for Thursday's game against the Jets, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. To'oTo'o has missed the Texans' last two games after being diagnosed with a concussion following Houston's Week 6 win over New England. To'oTo'o has logged 46 tackles (23 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass breakup across six regular-season outings, and he'll reclaim his starting job at outside linebacker for Thursday's game, a timely return given that fellow starter Azeez Al-Shaair could be sidelined for a third straight game due to a knee injury.
Won't play vs. Indianapolis

To'oTo'o (concussion) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. To'oTo'o will miss a second straight game due to a concussion he suffered in Week 6 against the Patriots. The 2023 fifth-round pick was able to practice in full Friday, but he has not cleared the league's concussion protocols. To'oTo'o's next chance at suiting up will be Thursday, Oct. 31 against the Jets. With Azeez Al-Shaair (knee) also sidelined for Sunday's contest, the Texans will turn to Neville Hewitt and the newly acquired Devin White to start at outside linebacker while Del'Shawn Phillips serves in a rotational depth role.
Could return in Week 8

To'oTo'o (concussion) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Colts. To'oTo'o appears to be trending toward playing in Sunday's contest, as he upgraded from a DNP on Thursday to a full practice session Friday. However, the second-year linebacker must still pass through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in order to suit up in Week 8. If To'oTo'o isn't able to do so, expect Devin White or Del'Shawn Phillips to see increased work with the Texans' first-team defense.
Returns to practice

To'oTo'o (concussion) logged a limited practice Wednesday. To'oTo'o is still working his way through the league's five-step concussion protocols, but his ability to get on the field in any capacity Wednesday is a good sign of his recovery. He'll still likely need to log a full practice either Thursday or Friday and receive clearance from an independent neurologist before he gets the green light to suit up Sunday against the Colts.
Won't play Sunday

To'oTo'o (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers. To'oTo'o didn't practice all week after sustaining a concussion in the Texans' Week 6 win over the Patriots, so it's no surprise he won't suit up Sunday. Expect Del'Shawn Phillips and Neville Hewitt to serve as the Texans' top outside linebackers with both To'oTo'o and Azeez Al-Shaair (knee) sidelined in Week 7.
