Stewart recorded four tackles (two solo), including 2.0 sacks and a tackle for a loss, and a forced fumble in Sunday's 21-13 loss to the Vikings. The defensive tackle's forced fumble also led to a scoop-and-score touchdown for teammate Kenny Moore II. Stewart now has 36 tackles (16 solo), including 2.5 sacks, two passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery this season.
Stewart had four total tackles and recovered a fumble in Sunday's win over Chicago. Stewart is primarily a run stuffer as the starting nose tackle. He played on 49 of the defense's 90 snaps, which let Taven Bryan play his more natural position at defensive end. The Colts agreed to re-sign Stewart on Tuesday to a three-year, $39 million deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Stewart has played in Indianapolis since being drafted by the team in 2017. The 30-year-old has proven durability by missing just two games across the prior six seasons. He projects to again start next to DeForest Buckner on the interior defensive line in 2024.
