Hill (wrist/rest) was limited at practice Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Hill -- who has been managing a wrist injury -- also was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, but the wideout could be cleared for Sunday's game against the Browns as soon as Friday. Meanwhile, fellow starter Jaylen Waddle (knee), who was inactive Week 16, returned to a limited practice Thursday, so it's possible that the Dolphins will have both players players available for Week 17 action.

Tyreek Hill Latest News
Limited session Thursday

Hill (wrist/rest) was limited at practice Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Hill -- who has been managing a wrist injury -- also was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, but the wideout could be cleared for Sunday's game against the Browns as soon as Friday. Meanwhile, fellow starter Jaylen Waddle (knee), who was inactive Week 16, returned to a limited practice Thursday, so it's possible that the Dolphins will have both players players available for Week 17 action.
Limited on practice estimate

Hill (wrist/rest) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Hill also logged a limited listing this past Friday before approaching Sunday's win over the 49ers with a 'questionable' designation. Unlike fellow WR Jaylen Waddle (knee), Hill was active for the contest and ended up recording an 84 percent snap share, while catching three of his seven targets for 29 yards and a touchdown. With no reported setbacks, we suspect that Hill's listed limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related.
Catches Tua's only TD pass

Hill (wrist/personal) had three receptions on seven targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-17 win over the 49ers. Hill was a limited participant in practice this week while tending to a personal issue in addition to a bum wrist. The speedy wideout overcame both roadblocks in order to suit up for a Dolphins squad that was without the services of Jaylen Waddle (knee) on Sunday. Hill didn't post the kind of volume managers may have expected with his running mate sidelined to injury, but he salvaged his performance by catching Miami's only passing touchdown on the day. With 834 receiving yards and just two games remaining on the schedule, Hill is in danger of failing to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since an injury-shortened season back in 2019.
Active versus 49ers

Hill (wrist/personal) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Hill, who continues to manage a wrist injury, didn't practice Wednesday, worked fully Thursday, and then finished the week with a limited listing Friday before heading into the weekend carrying a 'questionable' designation. With fellow starting WR Jaylen Waddle (knee) inactive, Hill should be busy Sunday, barring any in-game setbacks. Meanwhile, Malik Washington figures to see an expanded role in Waddle's absence, with River Cracraft and Erik Ezukanma rounding out Miami's Week 16 wide receiver corps.
Likely to play Sunday

Hill (wrist) is expected to play Sunday versus the 49ers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Hill is dealing with a wrist injury that kept him sidelined during practice Wednesday. He logged a full session Thursday before being listed as limited on Friday's injury report, leading to a questionable game status for Week 16. Hill's definitive availability will be revealed 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. With Jaylen Waddle (knee) considered doubtful to play, it's likely that Hill, Malik Washington and River Cracraft will line up as Miami's starting wideouts while tight end Jonnu Smith continues to feature heavily into the passing game.
Listed as questionable for Sunday

Hill (wrist/personal) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers after logging a limited practice Friday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Hill, who didn't practice Wednesday, worked fully Thursday, but following Friday's limited listing and corresponding Week 16 game status, the wideout's availability now is worth monitoring closely as Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff approaches. With fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle (knee) doubtful for the contest, Malik Washington and River Cracraft are the healthiest options Miami currently rosters at the position.
Returns to full practice

Hill (wrist/rest) was a full practice participant Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Hill has been playing through the same wrist injury for most of the season without missing a game. He caught just two of seven targets for 36 yards in a 20-12 loss to Houston last week, after briefly flashing his 2022-23 level of production Weeks 13 and 14 (16 catches for 198 yards and two TDs). The real question for Miami at wide receiver is Jaylen Waddle, who suffered a knee injury Sunday and hasn't practiced since.
Sits out Wednesday's practice

Hill (wrist/rest) didn't practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Hill has been managing a wrist issue of late, but the fact that the Dolphins also cited 'rest' as a reason for the wideout's listed non-participation Wednesday suggests that Hill's practice reps are simply being managed as Sunday's game against the 49ers approaches. As long as he practices fully by Friday, Hill should head into the weekend without a Week 16 injury designation.
Limited to two receptions Sunday

Hill brought in two of seven targets for 36 yards in the Dolphins' 20-12 loss to the Texans on Sunday. Hill was unable to take advantage of the fact Jaylen Waddle exited the game with a knee injury in the first half and didn't return, finishing with his lowest catch and yardage totals since Week 7 and 10, respectively. Hill's target total was also his sparsest since the latter contest, and he saw a two-game touchdown streak come to an end. The veteran speedster also was the intended target down the right sideline on Tua Tagovailoa's game-sealing interception, a fitting ending to a disappointing afternoon. Hill's first opportunity to bounce back comes in a Week 16 home matchup against the 49ers.
