Murphy suffered a knee injury in Friday's 20-13 preseason victory over the Falcons, according to the Miami Herald. Murphy joined Miami as an undrafted free agent. When healthy, he is competing for a depth role at outside linebacker this season. Thus, a quick return from injury would be more beneficial for his chances.
