Amik Robertson Latest News
Notches eight tackles vs. Bears

Robertson recorded eight total tackles (five solo) and two passes defended in Sunday's 34-17 win over the Bears. Robertson finished second on the Lions' defense in total tackles during Sunday's blowout win, trailing Brian Branch's 12-stop performance. The first-year Lion tied his season high in tackles (eight) in Week 16, having now accumulated 43 total tackles, six passes defended and two forced fumbles over 15 appearances. Robertson is expected to continue starting opposite Terrion Arnold as part of Detroit's top outside cornerback duo for the remainder of the regular season.
Eight solo tackles in win

Robertson recorded eight solo tackles and two passes defensed in Monday's 42-29 win over Seattle. Robertson played a season-high 55 percent of Detroit's defensive snaps, finishing second on the team in tackles behind Kerby Joseph. The 26-year-old is operating as the team's starting slot cornerback, compiling 12 total tackles (11 solo) and four passes defensed over the first four games of 2024.
Comes off NFI list

The Lions removed Robertson (undisclosed) from the active/non-football injury list Wednesday. Robertson's stint on the active/non-football injury list was short-lived, as he spent just a handful of hours on it. The first-year Lion is now able to participate in training camp once again.
Moves to NFI list

The Lions placed Robertson (undisclosed) on the active/non-football injury list Wednesday. As of now, the nature and severity of Robertson's injury remain unknown, but the Louisiana Tech product is still eligible to practice or play at any point throughout the preseason. The fifth-year veteran posted 50 total tackles and six passes defended in 2023, and once he returns to full health, he's expected to contribute as one of the Lions' top cornerbacks in his first year with the team.
Finds new home

Robertson is set to sign a two-year, $9.25 million contract with the Lions, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Robertson will now join Carlton Davis as part of Detroit's attempt to rebuild its secondary, which was a weak point last season. The 2020 fourth-round selection has mostly operated out of the slot in his four years with the Raiders. The Louisiana Tech product notched 50 combined tackles last season while also recording six passes defended, including two interceptions.
Now in concussion protocol

Robertson sustained the concussion during Sunday's win versus the Jets. Most players who have entered concussion protocol so far this season have sat out at least one game, so it would be surprising to see him suit up in Week 11.
