Obi Toppin : Expected to sit Friday
Toppin (ankle) is unlikely to play Friday against Boston, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Toppin sat out the second half of Thursday's matchup against OKC after going down with a left ankle sprain, and coach Rick Carlisle noted after the game that he expects Toppin to miss Friday's clash. Jarace Walker would be a candidate for an expanded role if Toppin is ultimately ruled out.
Pascal Siakam : Leads from deep in double-double
Siakam finished Thursday's 120-114 loss to the Thunder with 22 points (7-14 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes. Siakam led the way for Indiana from deep Thursday, pacing all players in shots made from three while concluding as one of two Pacers with 20 or more points in a double-double performance. Siakam has connected on five or more threes in three outings, posting his sixth double-double of the 2024-25 campaign.
Andrew Nembhard : All-around showing as top scorer
Nembhard amassed 23 points (9-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one block across 29 minutes during Thursday's 120-114 loss to the Thunder. Nembhard did a little bit of everything for Indiana in Thursday's outing, lifting Pacers players in scoring while distributing the ball well and ending one board short of a double-double. Nembhard set season-high marks in scoring and rebounds, adding his sixth outing of the season with seven or more dimes.
Myles Turner : Strong on both ends in defeat
Turner ended Thursday's 120-114 loss to Oklahoma City with 12 points (4-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and five blocks across 33 minutes. Turner entered Thursday's game a bit banged up with a right oblique contusion, but made a strong impact on both ends of the court while leading all players in blocks and rebounds in a double-double showcase. Turner matched a season high in blocks, having done so in three outings. He has recorded a double-double in five contests so far this season.
Obi Toppin : Shut down vs. Thunder
Toppin won't return to Thursday's game against the Thunder due to a left ankle sprain. He recorded five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and three rebounds over seven minutes before departing. Toppin suffered the ankle injury early in Thursday's matchup and attempted to tough it out, but it was clear he was moving a bit gingerly. He'll be considered questionable for Friday's game against Boston until the team evaluates the 26-year-old further.
Obi Toppin : Returns Thursday
Toppin (ankle) has returned to Thursday's game against the Thunder, Tony East of SI.com reports. Toppin sprained his left ankle during the first quarter, though he returned to action midway through the second. The big man should be able to shoulder his normal workload the rest of the way, but Jarace Walker could see an uptick in playing time if Toppin is limited.
Obi Toppin : Iffy to return Thursday
Toppin sustained a sprained left ankle during the first quarter of Thursday's game against the Thunder and is questionable to return. Toppin supplied five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and a rebound across three minutes before heading back to the locker room. If he's unable to return, Jarace Walker will likely see an uptick in playing time the rest of the way.
Myles Turner : Good to go against OKC
Turner (oblique) is available for Thursday's game versus the Thunder, Tony East of SI.com reports. Turner has been upgraded from questionable to available Thursday despite dealing with a right oblique contusion. Turner is averaging 14.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.9 assists in 30.0 minutes across his last 10 appearances.
