Samuel (rib) was limited at practice Thursday. Samuel was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report, so he'll presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to approach Sunday's contest against the Jets without an injury designation. If he's cleared for Week 17 action, Samuel would carry modest fantasy upside while working in a wideout corps that also includes Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman and Mack Hollins.
Allen (right elbow/right shoulder) practiced fully Thursday. After being listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, Allen was able to maintain that level of activity in Thursday's session, paving the way for him to start Sunday's game against the Jets. Though the Chiefs have clinched the AFC's No. 1 playoff seed, the Bills can secure the No. 2 seed (and the option to rest starters Week 18) with a win this weekend, Maddy Glab of the team's official site reports.
Allen (elbow/shoulder) was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice estimate. Allen's listing Wednesday's report would seem to pave the way for him to be available Sunday against the Jets. That said, the outcome of Wednesday's Ravens-Texans game could affect how the Bills handle their key starters this coming weekend, given that a Baltimore loss would lock Buffalo into the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs.
Samuel (ribs) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report. Samuel injured his ribs during the Bills' Week 15 win over the Lions, which was severe enough for him to be sidelined for this past Sunday's victory against the Patriots. The veteran wideout has been used sparingly in the Bills' passing attack and has operated as a depth option behind Amari Cooper, Khalil Shakir, Mack Hollins and rookie Keon Coleman. Samuel didn't play this past Sunday despite logging consecutive limited practices to end the week, so he may have to practice in full Thursday or Friday in order to be cleared to play against the Jets on Sunday. Over his last five games, Samuel has caught 12 passes (on 19 targets) for 109 yards and one touchdown.
Douglas (knee) was listed as a full participant in Buffalo's practice estimate Wednesday. Douglas has missed the team's past two games due to a knee injury but is now trending towards making his return. He should be good to go for Sunday's matchup versus the Jets where he resume his role as one of the team's starting corners.
Hollins caught two of three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 24-21 win over the Patriots. Hollins played 42 of the Bills' 59 offensive snaps Sunday, second only to Khalil Shakir (44). The veteran wideout is a part of a crowded wide receiver room in Buffalo, limiting his potential for high target shares. For that reason, Hollins continues to be nothing more than a dart throw for fantasy purposes. The 31-year-old will look to get more involved in Week 17 when the Bills host the Jets.
Knox caught both of his targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 24-21 win over the Patriots. Knox ended Sunday's contest with a modest receiving total despite leading Buffalo tight ends in snap share. The veteran played 56 percent of the Bills' offensive snaps against New England while Dalton Kincaid handled a 34 percent snap share. It was Kincaid, however, who saw more targets from Josh Allen, with seven passes coming his way. The 28-year-old Knox will continue to be extremely difficult to trust in Week 17 when the Bills host the Jets.
