Oruwariye (foot) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. The cornerback was not listed on Wednesday's injury report. Oruwariye has played on 64 and 99 percent of Dallas' defensive snaps over the last two games due to Trevon Diggs being out with season-ending knee surgery. If Oruwariye can't play Sunday against the Eagles, Andrew Booth or C.J. Goodwin might be in line to see more snaps.

Wilson dealt with an elbow injury ahead of the Cowboys' Week 16 win over the Buccaneers but did not have to miss the game. The seventh-year pro has played on at least 67 percent of Dallas' defensive snaps in all 15 games this season, but Israel Mukuamu and Juanyeh Thomas are the team's backup safeties if Wilson can't go Sunday against the Eagles.

The middle linebacker was estimated as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report after missing Dallas' 26-24 win over Tampa Bay last Sunday night with the same injury. Kendricks, who signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys in the offseason and went on to record his ninth straight 100-plus-tackle campaign, appears to be trending toward returning, though Dallas is eliminated from playoff contention. If he can't go Sunday against the Eagles, Buddy Johnson is next in line to start.
Brooks (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. The wide receiver was estimated as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report. Brooks could be in line to see more opportunities due to CeeDee Lamb now being out for the season with his shoulder injury. Brooks, a second-year pro, has 11 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown in 2024 so far.
Tolbert (finger) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. Tolbert left this past Sunday's game against the Buccaneers just before halftime due to a finger injury and didn't return. Since then, he was listed as limited on the first two Week 17 practice reports, giving him one last chance Friday to return to full participation or otherwise risk entering the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Philadelphia. If he's able to suit up, Tolbert likely will have an elevated role in the Cowboys offense following news Thursday that CeeDee Lamb was shut down for the season due to a persisting shoulder issue.
Cooks and Jalen Tolbert (finger) are expected to serve as the Cowboys' top two receivers for the next two games with Dallas announcing Thursday that CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) has been ruled out for the season, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. Lamb first suffered an AC joint sprain in his shoulder in the Nov. 3 loss to the Falcons and had aggravated the injury on multiple occasions since, but the star wideout had still suited up in Dallas' last seven games while averaging 9.7 targets per contest. With the Cowboys officially eliminated from playoff contention following Week 17 action, the team will shut Lamb down to avoid further wear and tear on his shoulder, with his absence creating a major void in the Dallas passing attack. While Cooks should benefit from some added looks as a result of Lamb's absence, expect quarterback Cooper Rush to disperse Lamb's vacated targets around among a number of pass catchers. In addition to Cooks and Tolbert, tight end Jake Ferguson and depth wideouts Jalen Brooks (knee), Ryan Flournoy and KaVontae Turpin could also see their involvement in the passing game increase to varying degrees.
The Cowboys announced Thursday that Lamb will be sidelined for the final two games of the season but isn't expected to require surgery to address the AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, Jane Slater of NFL Network reports. Lamb initially injured his shoulder in a Nov. 3 loss to the Falcons, but he had been playing through the issue in the last seven games on his way to accruing a 48-534-2 receiving line on 68 targets and tacking on an additional 18 yards on four carries. After he was limited to a season-low offensive snap share of 55 percent in this past Sunday's 26-24 win over the Buccaneers, he underwent additional exams and scans on his shoulder earlier this week that showed his injury had worsened. Lamb would likely push through the injury and continue playing if the 7-8 Cowboys were still in the playoff hunt, but he'll instead get a head start on his rehabilitation. He's projected to make a full recovery from the injury and should be available for the start of the Cowboys' offseason program.
