Da Silva logged 18 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Thursday's 89-88 loss to the Heat. Da Silva played a game-high 39 minutes Thursday, and he finished as Orlando's second-leading scorer behind Jalen Suggs (29). Da Silva has started in each of the Magic's last six games due to the absence of Franz Wagner (oblique), and he has scored in double digits in four of those contests. Over his last six starts, da Silva has averaged 14.2 points on 47.8 percent shooting, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 31.3 minutes per game.

Latest Magic News
Tristan da Silva : Scores 18 points against Miami
Goga Bitadze : Strong defensive presence vs. Heat
Bitadze logged 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and three steals over 33 minutes during Thursday's 89-88 loss to Miami. Bitadze led Orlando in blocked shots Thursday, and he was one of three Magic players to register three steals. A last-second tipped shot late in the fourth quarter brought Bitadze to double-digt points and gave him his 11th double-double of the season. Five of those double-doubles have come over his last seven outings, and over that span he has averaged 13.1 points on 60.6 percent shooting, 12.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.0 steals over 29.4 minutes per game.
Jalen Suggs : Game-high 29 points Thursday
Suggs tallied 29 points (10-22 FG, 2-12 3Pt, 7-8 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Thursday's 89-88 loss to the Heat. Suggs led both teams in scoring Thursday in a game that saw neither team eclipse 90 points. However, Suggs' struggles from beyond the arc continued and over his last five games he's gone just 8-for-39 from three. He also committed a game-high seven turnovers, and he's turned the ball over at least four times in four of his last five outings. Suggs is still adjusting to being the main offensive option for the Magic due to the absences of Paolo Banchero (oblique) and Franz Wagner (oblique). Suggs and the Magic will look to bounce back in the second leg of a back-to-back Friday against Jalen Brunson and the Knicks.
Gary Harris : Downgraded to out
Harris (hamstring) won't play in Thursday's game versus the Heat. Harris's absence streak will extend to 13 games Thursday after being downgraded from questionable to out due to a left hamstring strain. Harris' next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with the Knicks.
Paolo Banchero : Ramping up conditioning
Coach Jamahl Mosley said Thursday that Banchero (oblique) is not yet doing contact drills but is ramping up his conditioning workouts, Philip Rossman-Reich of OrlandoMagicDaily.com reports. Banchero hasn't played since Oct. 30 due to a torn right oblique. While the star forward will likely need to participate in full-contact practice before returning to action, he does appear to be progressing in his recovery. Until Banchero is able to suit up, Tristan da Silva and Trevelin Queen should continue to receive increased playing time.
Gary Harris : Questionable for Thursday
Harris (hamstring) is questionable to play Thursday versus Miami. Harris is dealing with a left hamstring strain and has not suited up for game action since Nov. 25. Thursday marks the start of a back-to-back for Orlando, so his usage would be likely limited if he's ultimately cleared to return.
Tristan da Silva : Strong from deep as top scorer
Da Silva closed Monday's 108-104 victory over the Celtics with 18 points (6-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one steal in 36 minutes. Da Silva shined offensively in Monday's contest, leading all players in scoring and threes made while also pitching in on the glass in a winning effort. Da Silva set a new season high in threes made, and he has posted at least 15 points in four contests this year.
Wendell Carter : Balanced outing in return to bench
Carter racked up 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 27 minutes during Monday's 108-104 win over the Celtics. Carter returned the Magic bench due to Trevelin Queen entering the starting five, but still made a strong impact while leading all bench players in scoring, rebounds, assists and blocks in a winning effort. Carter has reached double figures in scoring in six outings this season, adding seven or more boards in every one of those contests.
