Johnson had his reps capped for the second day in a row as he continues to work through a foot issue that has resulted in the Saints listing him on injury reports for four consecutive weeks. He's managed to play in each of the previous three contests, and assuming he's experiencing no setbacks during his Week 17 prep, he should be ready to play Sunday against the Raiders. Even though he's played at least two-thirds of the offensive snaps in every game since the Saints' Week 12 bye, his fantasy prospects have taken a hit while Derek Carr (hand) has been out of the lineup the past two contests. Carr hasn't been officially ruled out for the Week 17 matchup with the Raiders but doesn't appear to be trending toward playing, likely putting Johnson on track to work with Spencer Rattler as his quarterback for at least one more game.

Valdes-Scantling (chest) was limited at practice Thursday. Valdes-Scantling has cobbled together back-to-back limited listings on the injury report this week, giving him only one more chance to get back to full participation Friday before the Saints potentially tag him with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Raiders. If he's able to suit up this weekend, Valdes-Scantling may be welcoming back Chris Olave (concussion), who remains on injured reserve but practiced fully Thursday.

Olave now has been listed as full on back-to-back injury reports, which has left the wide receiver "day-to-day," as interim coach Darren Rizzi told Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football on Thursday. Sidelined since suffering a concussion Week 9 at Carolina, Olave seemingly has a good chance to return to action Sunday against the Raiders. However, the Saints still have one practice report to post this week, and how he's listed there may reveal his odds to be activated from injured reserve by Saturday's 4:00 p.m. ET deadline to do so.
McCoy (elbow) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports. McCoy injured his elbow during the Saints' Week 16 loss to the Packers. He was able to avoid a major injury, though it appears as though he will not play in the Saints' final two games of the regular season, per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. Shane Lemieux will serve as New Orleans' starting center due to McCoy and Lucas Patrick (knee) both being ruled out for Sunday's game.
Carr (left hand) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice. For a second week in a row, Spencer Rattler continues to take first-team reps with the Saints offense, per Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana, while Carr focuses on rehabbing his left hand, which suffered a fracture Week 14 at the Giants and has sidelined him the last two games. According to interim coach Darren Rizzi, Rattler will start Sunday against the Raiders if Carr is unavailable, something that may be confirmed as soon as New Orleans posts its final injury report of the week Friday.
Kamara (groin) didn't practice Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports. Kamara has been held out of all drills since sustaining an adductor injury Week 15 against the Commanders, but interim coach Darren Rizzi told John Hendrix of SI.com on Thursday that the running back was in the midst of rehab and in "good spirits." Such comments don't exactly shed light on Kamara's prospects for Sunday's game versus the Raiders, but Friday's practice report may provide some clarity on that front. Kendre Miller, Jamaal Williams and Jordan Mims are on hand in the event Kamara requires another absence this weekend.
Means (ankle) will remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season. The 21-day window for the Saints to activate Means off injured reserve has now expired, thus ending his season. The 23-year-old finished his rookie season with nine catches for 118 yards and a touchdown across seven games played.
Shepherd (eye) was listed as a full participant in New Orleans' practice estimate Thursday. Shepherd is seemingly healthy after having suffered an eye injury during the team's Week 16 shutout loss to the Packers. He should return to his role as one of the team's starting defensive tackles for Sunday's matchup versus the Raiders.
