Having said that, London may still head into the weekend with a designation for that contest, which will be revealed on Friday's injury report.

Having said that, London may still head into the weekend with a designation for that contest, which will be revealed on Friday's injury report.
London (hamstring) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports. London was forced out of this past Sunday's contest versus the Giants due to a hamstring injury, but coach Raheem Morris said afterward that the third-year wide receiver could have returned, per McElhaney. With a limited listing to start Week 17 prep, London has set a good baseline for the rest of the week, but he may need to practice in full Thursday and/or Friday to avoid a designation ahead of Sunday's game in Washington.
Pitts caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Giants. Pitts continued his underwhelming 2024 campaign, hitting his lowest yardage total in a game in which he caught at least one pass. The fourth-year tight end played 30 of the Falcons' 67 offensive snaps Sunday, trailing fellow tight end Charlie Woerner, who finished the contest with 34 snaps. Pitts has not been a trustworthy fantasy option for much of the season, and things won't get much easier for the 24-year-old when the Falcons square off against the Commanders in Week 17.
Elliss recorded seven total tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Giants. Elliss was one of three Falcons to get after Drew Lock in Sunday's blowout win, bringing his season total to 5.0. The 29-year-old linebacker from Idaho has appeared in all 15 of the Falcons' games this season, recording a team-leading 131 total tackles, two passes defended and one forced fumble. Expect Elliss to remain a significant portion of the Falcons' defense as the season progresses.
Ebiketie recorded five total tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Giants. The third-year pro from Penn State appears to be breaking out down the stretch for the Falcons, having now recorded 10 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, and one pass defended over his last four games. Ebiketie has appeared in 15 games for Atlanta this season and recorded 34 total stops, including 5.0 sacks, and two passes defended. He'll look to extend his hot streak in Week 17, when the Falcons face the Commanders.
McCloud caught three of four targets for 19 yards and added eight rushing yards on his only carry in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Giants. With rookie Michael Penix getting his first start at quarterback, the Falcons' passing game took a back seat to Bijan Robinson and the team's defense, and there wasn't much volume available for McCloud. Drake London did leave the game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring issue, however, and while initial reports suggest the injury isn't serious, his absence for a Week 17 clash with the Commanders would thrust McCloud into a larger role. The 28-year-old wideout has already set new career highs in 2024 with 57 catches for 607 yards on 79 targets.
Allgeier carried the ball 11 times for 22 yards and caught his only target for nine yards in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Giants. With rookie Michael Penix making his first NFL start, the Falcons leaned heavily on their running game, but Allgeier failed to do much with his volume while watching Bijan Robinson turn 24 touches into 103 scrimmage yards and two rushing TDs. Allgeieir has carried the ball 40 times over the last four games, managing 144 yards and a touchdown, and Atlanta will likely try to feature a run-heavy approach again in Week 17 against the Commanders.
Mooney caught five of six targets for 82 yards in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Giants. While the Falcons' passing game took a back seat to Bijan Robinson and the team's defense in Michael Penix's first NFL start, Mooney still posted respectable numbers and led Atlanta in receiving yards. He also tied with Drake London (hamstring) for the lead in receptions, although the latter made a late exit from the game. It was a reassuring rebound from Mooney after he failed to catch a pass in Week 15 -- Kirk Cousins' last start. The veteran wideout sits only 45 yards short of reaching 1,000 on the season for the second time in his career. He will try to build more chemistry with his new QB in Week 17 against the Commanders.
